Meet Riddick
This dashing guy is Riddick!
Riddick is an approximately 4-year old male German Shepherd who weighs around 65-70 lbs. He came into the rescue after becoming homeless.
Riddick is high-energy but can be a couch potato after he has had exercise to burn off his energy. He is very loyal and eager to learn new things. Very smart and treat/ball motivated.
Riddick needs a home with an active individual or family! Due to his exuberance and strength, probably be best with older children. Riddick would be an excellent dog for a runner or hiker. Preference for a home with large dog experience.
In an over-stimulated environment, Riddick can be hyper as he is very aware of all that goes on around him. Away from the over abundance of stimulation, he is calmer. He has gone to dog parks and daycares, but just be attentive to him in public places. He currently lives with a dog who is a senior and they are fine. With the right introduction, he can be fine with other dogs. He is excellent with cats!
Riddick is crate and house-trained. Very strong on a leash, so an Easy-Walker type harness/leash is highly recommended. Secure stockade-fenced backyard and a home check are required.
Riddick is neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped.
His adoption fee is $200.
