Handsome Ricky is a 1 to 1 1/2 year old, 45 pound Australian Cattle dog with beautiful blue merle coat and a striking white tail!. He loves other dogs, and watching him at play with another energetic canine is a comedic treat! There are aerial maneuvers and splashing if standing water is available, and lots of "zoomies".

Ricky loves people and enjoys human friendship once he trusts the person to treat him kindly. He bonds to women quickly, but is suspicious of men, and it is fairly obvious that he has known an abusive man. However, once he feels safe, Ricky is an affectionate and wonderful companion to either gender.

Ricky is a resilient and loving fellow, and he is blossoming after only 1 week in rescue . He enjoys agility exercises, his walks, and he loves to play ball. He is healthy and ready to begin life with a new family. We are requiring Ricky go to a home with a fenced yard since he could be considered a flight risk when startled.

Ricky is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. Our $300 adoption fee helps to cover these expenses.
