Meet Rickey!<br/><br/>Rickey is a neutered male Beagle. He is estimated at 5+ years of age and currently weighs 36 pounds.<br/><br/>Rickey came to us from our southern rescue partner, who received him as an owner surrender. Unfortunately, due to health issues, his owners weren't able to care for Rickey anymore. Rickey is kind and gentle and good with every single person he meets.<br/><br/>Rickey's foster reports, He’s awesome in the car, on a leash and loves his humans like no other. He loves living his new active life, but he is also great when he needs to be crated!<br/><br/>Rickey was quite overweight for a small framed beagle and his fosters worked with him to get back to a healthy weight. They have continued taking him on 3 walks a day to keep him in shape and report that he does very well on a leash. We are looking for dog savvy family to adopt Rickey. He would do best as an only pet in the home where he can get all of the attention! <br/><br/>Rickey can be a bit bossy and stubborn (he is a beagle, after all), and while he hasn't met a stranger, he'd do best in a home with no, or older kids in the home.<br/><br/>Interested in providing a stable and loving forever home to this wonderful ol' boy?
