The Nature Boy, Ric Flair has recovered well from heartworm treatment and dental cleaning with nine teeth extractions. For an older fella, he’s fairly active. He loves to wander the yard and do typical beagle stuff but he also loves his naps. He’s a pretty calm and a super easy guy to care for. Ric loves other dogs and does well with cats. He’s very friendly but a little head shy but certainly loves attention. Ric is also house and kennel trained. We prefer Ric to have a family that is not gone for hours at a time. His ideal family would be someone who is retired or works from home. We also feel Ric would do best in a fenced yard where he can meander around and do his beagle-y thing. We guess Ric to be 10+ years old.
Ric’s adoption fee is $75 but is being sponsored by Envisioning Green. This includes vaccinations, neuter, microchip, dental cleaning, heartworm test, dewormer and maintaining heartworm/flea prevention while in our care.
To be considered for adoption, your vet reference will be checked. You MUST have a consistent history of vaccines and heartworm prevention use in order to be considered for adoption.
You must be located within 50 miles of Godfrey/Alton, IL as a home visit is required as part of our process.
