Meet Rhino

Hi, my name is Rhino! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Friendly, rowdy, playful, large and in charge!

-Can Live with Kids: No, Rhino is a LOT of dog and is still learning to use his manners. He would do best in an adult-only home, or at least one with strong, dog-savvy teenagers who can handle a big, rowdy pup.

-Can Live with Cats: No thanks!

-Can Live with Dogs: Rhino could potentially live with just the right match after a slow intro process, although he'd likely prefer to be an only child. He would not be well matched with small dogs, seniors, or selective dogs who don't tolerate pushy play.

-Can do Apartment Living: No, thank you! Rhino was adopted and returned for being WAY too much dog for an apartment.

-Potty Trained: Yes

-Bite History: No

-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Yes, one private lesson

-Energy Level: Med/high- Rhino is happy to romp around and play, then snuggle up for a nap.

-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Nope!
-Additional Information: Meet Rhino! This handsome gentleman is stocky, social, and super fun. He loves people and is working very hard at practicing polite greetings when making new friends. Rhino would benefit from continued training with a patient, dog-savvy adopter who can help him become the best dog he can be! A bit of a freight train, Rhino could use some assistance brushing up on his leash manners. He's experiencing some kennel stress at the shelter and may take a few extra days to decompress in his new home, but once he has some time to settle into his new routine, we know Rhino will be an awesome companion for many years to come. *Here's what Rhino's favorite shelter staff member had to say about him: "I am a muscly, hyper, and Tonka Truck like dog! I can trot around and knock you over like a bowling pin but it is all in the name of play and it is done with the utmost love for my family! Let me show you how much of a loving, playful, and cuddly family dog I can be."*
