Meet Rhett MP

Rhett

Captain Obvious says I am supposed to start off with a quote from a famous guy named Rhett Butler. Only every time I start the quote I get side tracked, because it starts with the word frankly, and when I think of franks….I think of weiners and then I think of hotdogs and food and where was I. See. And frankly, I do give a dern. I give a dern about kids and cats and families.

I am a FANTASTIC DOG. Because I am a family guy that LOVES cats and LOVES kids. But I don’t have a family. Well, I do have a temporary family, but it isn’t the same as a permanent one. I was raised in a house with children when I was a puppy, so I am fully in the know about kids. I am also a medium size of 45 pounds at about almost 2 years old, so I should not grow anymore.

I have to be honest with you, I do not do well at adoption events, because I am nervous at first when I meet people so they think I am weird and don’t get a chance to see family Rhett, the Rhett that knows how to hang out and do family stuff. My nervous wears off quickly, so I am just asking for a chance to show you my good boy side.

Once at your house, you will see that I have lots of energies to jump high and play. That is why I like children, they are waaaaay better at running and jumping in the yard than adults. I am house trained and very smart. My mix is Labrador Retriever and maybe a pinch of Collie or Shepherd or some other type of herding dog. So do you give a dern???? (See I left the word frankly out so I wouldn’t get off track on frankfurters and weenies and sausages……) I hope you do and you contact God’s Dogs Rescue to adopt me!

GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - Our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area.
