Meet Reya
Reya is about 7+ years old, and currently in the high 40lbs range.
She has just arrived in our rescue,and we will be posting more updates as we get to know them better.
She is a little shy on meeting, but once she forms a bond with her people, she is very relaxed, learns her routines, and shows her love. Like many Jindos, she is nervous around strangers, but evasive rather than aggressive. She can be handled with ease and rides nicely in the car, willingly jumping in herself.
She walks very well on leash. She also likes to play fetch!
Indoors, she is quiet, and she is fully housetrained.
She can get along with other dogs, provided they are polite and respectful, but as with any dog to dog introduction, we'd recommend patience, caution and care. At this stage, we would recommend her as an only dog in the household, unless you have prior Asian dog experience and are prepared for some management.
We have not tested her with cats, other small critters, or children yet, but would expect her to have a normally high prey drive for smaller, wild animals (squirrels, rabbits etc) and again, would recommend caution with any introduction (regardless of the dog's breed).
