Meet Rex
This handsome young lad is Rex! Rex is a 1 year old Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull mix who is one of the most happy-go-lucky goofballs you'll ever meet. He is eager to please and strives to make you laugh! As with most young lab mixes, Rex has a fair amount of youthful energy and will do best in an active home. He might even make a nice running partner!
He's done really well at adoption events with other dogs and with children. Even though he has a lot of young energy, he knows when it's time to be gentle and calm. Rex is smart too, so he'll pick up on basic obedience training pretty fast!
Rex enjoys chewing and exploring areas that you may want to be off limits, so it would be beneficial to you and Rex if you crated him while you are not home. Once he learns what is okay to chew and what areas of the home are Rex-friendly, he is going to make an AMAZING member of your family!
His minimum adoption donation is $245 plus a $12 fee for rabies registration with McLean County Animal Control.
He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
