Rex German Shepherd Dog Nahant, MA

Rex is a 2 year old male GSD with an adorable floppy ear. He is black and tan and is a tall, lanky boy still growing into his own! He is a sweetheart who needs an active family to call his own.

Rex does well with other dogs and he wants to play all the time. He is quite popular at doggie daycare! He shares his toys nicely and tends to be a bit submissive by nature. He is a sensitive guy who does not enjoy raised voices or harsh correction tactics. He is food motivated and very smart. He loves squeaky toys and soccer balls!

Rex has had some hesitation about getting into cars and trucks. He is working on this and once in the car enjoys rides and behaves well. He also has some fear of going up and down stairs and needs gentle guidance. Due to his sensitive nature he sometimes has accidents when nervous or excited, but he is getting better. He has some basic obedience but will need to continue, and his new family will be required to enroll in training.

Rex is good with other dogs. Unknown with cats. Children over 10 as he is basically a large puppy and may knock little ones over or play to rough.Rex requires a fenced yard since he is so high energy, we will not consider homes with no fence or electric fences. He is house and crate trained but will most likely have accidents. He is neutered and up to date on all shots.
