Rescue Lucky Labrador Retriever & Shepherd Mix Batavia, NY

Lucky is a 1 year old neutered male Lab/Shepherd Mix. He is a playful guy who is a little timid at first meeting but warms up to his people with time. He is good with dogs, children and seems good with cats. He is housebroken and crate trained. Lucky is currently in a foster home.

Volunteers For Animals periodically pulls dogs from other shelters to free up space; this helps avoid euthanizing healthy, adoptable animals. We are able to do this through the generosity of many people such as the originating shelter staff, transporters, foster volunteers and others who help with pulling fees, vet bills and finding good homes once they are here.

The adoption process includes an application that is completed by the potential owner. If there are multiple applications on the same animal, the animal will go to the best home for that particular animal - not necessarily the first application. Fees for the rescues animals can range from $100 to $175 per animal which needs to be cash or a check - NO CREDIT CARDS.
