Reno Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler & Australian Shepherd Mix Oklahoma City, OK

Reno is very much a life loving puppy. He runs full speed everywhere, loves to play outside with his people or another dog, and loves his toys. He loves running around with his foster dog siblings and being chased by them. I think he would be a perfect fit for someone who enjoys being active outside-walking, hiking, kayaking, camping….

Reno walks on a leash well and he is working on proper heeling.

He is incredibly curious and follows his nose and noises without question. He will need a good fence and supervision in the house until he learns his boundaries.

He follows his foster dad in the shop and outside…he would be a good guys dog.

Reno really enjoys his foster kid but is still a puppy his self. He hasn’t learned that his energy can be intimidating to kids so he would be good in a home with kids 8-10 years old or older.

He has not tried to jump on the furniture yet at all except to get a toy that is out of his reach. He goes into is crate easily with a small training treat.

Reno LOVES his toys. His favorite is his antler bone and all of his fetch toys. He will entertain his self for a while with his toys but loves to play fetch when he has a lot of energy. After playing he is quite content to lay at your feet and take a recharge nap!

Also he is a very smart young boy. He has mastered “sit” in less than a week and has learned “down” in about a day.

Adoption fee for all dogs and puppies is $130.00 each, which includes spay/neuter, vaccinations (including all puppy boosters for puppies under 4 months), worming, flea/tick treatment if needed, microchip and collar/leash/tags.
