Meet Remus
Remus!
If you have happened to come into our Colmar location in the past 6 months are so chances are you have met Remus. He came to us in July 2020 from a local shelter where he was at risk because of a terrible case of mange as well as deep skin infections. It has taken many (many) vet visits and medications to get Remus the all clear to find his forever home but here we are! Remus was fortunate enough to spend a few weeks over the holidays with a family for a break. They had only the best things to say about him, including how snuggly and loving he is. Remus also loves other dogs and would be happy to have a playful canine friend.
Remus does need to be kept on a special prescription diet at this time, as well as once a month allergy shots from the vet, and he likely will have chronic skin/allergy issues. Currently the cost for this is estimated to be about $300 a month.
Remus' adoption fee includes his vetting to date including vaccinations, microchipping and neutering. He will also go home with his remaining food.
