About Remy:<br/>• Happy, affectionate, and loves to cuddle<br/>• Playful—enjoys running, dog parks, tug-of-war, and chewing sturdy toys<br/>• Potty trained + crate trained<br/>• Sleeps in bed with his person<br/>• Up to date on vaccines + monthly heartworm prevention<br/>What to know:<br/>Remy does have anxiety and likes to feel in charge of his environment. He can be an alarm barker and has had some conflicts in the past with his brother (who has since been rehomed). He is currently the only dog in the home and has been doing well.<br/>He takes 20 mg of Prozac daily, which has made a big positive difference—he’s well-adjusted and stable on his medication.<br/>Remy would do best:<br/>• In an active home that includes him in daily life<br/>• As the only dog, or possibly with a dog of similar temperament<br/>• In a home without small children<br/>• Likely without cats<br/>He can be friendly with people but is sometimes nervous, especially with new situations or energy levels he’s unsure about. Because of this, we think he’d do best in a home that understands and respects his boundaries.<br/>A few Remy quirks:<br/>• Gets cold easily (he has a very thin coat—sweaters/pajamas help!)<br/>• Afraid of storms, fireworks, and vacuums<br/>• Loves affection, but prefers his “smooshing” time without other dogs around<br/>Due to major life changes, his family is heartbreakingly looking for a new home for Remy.
