Meet Reggie

Animal Profile: Reggie is a 4-year-old, 68 lb natural Doberman with a goofy personality and lots of love to give. He is house trained and crate trained (he needs a secure crate). He has completed obedience training but needs an owner who will hold him accountable, especially around distractions like squirrels and bunnies. Reggie's leash manners are a work in progress and he can be dog selective, but he plays well with the dogs he knows. Due to his dog selectivity he is not a good candidate for dog parks and needs a fenced yard. Reggie is a perfect gentleman in the house. He loves all people and is a wonderful and loving companion to all humans, big and small.

Adopter Profile:

Dog experience required
Other large dogs okay with introduction
No cats or small animals
Fenced yard required, no exceptions, and secure crate
Kids okay

Animal History: This dog was rescued from euthanasia at a high-kill shelter in California weighing just 43 lbs at 2 years old. In San Bernadino he lived in a junk yard and escaped several times. Apparently his owners didn't want him because he wasn't a good junk yard dog. He was transported to Seattle foster care in 2019 where he lived with a pack of dogs and cats. He was adopted in 2019 to a committed family but unfortunately not having a fenced yard has proved to be unideal for Reggie and he now needs to find a new home. He is available for adoption in the greater Seattle area. 12/3/21 2:41 AM
