She has escaped her two previous homes and has gotten the reputation of being quite the escape-artist. We believe she isn’t running away, she’s running towards her next adventure. And hopefully running towards a family who understands her curious, adventurous side and will keep her safe while letting her shine.<br/><br/>Regan is smart, probably too smart for her own good. She's affectionate and playful. She knows sit and shake, walks politely by your side once the leash is on, and enjoys being petted all over. She loves to run, chase toys, and turn the yard into her personal playground—sometimes even into a game of “human bowling.” She’s energetic, joyful, and guaranteed to bring laughter wherever she goes. <br/><br/>With other dogs, Regan can be rowdy and jumps right into wrestling, so she’d do best with tolerant playmates or as the star of the show in her own home. She's definitely a rough and rowdy playstyle, but we do have quite a few of those here at Miss Winkles, so she has a blast when she gets to play with dogs who can keep up with her energy, like Mae, a shepherd mix here at Miss Winkles. What she needs most is an active, loving family who will give her plenty of exercise, structure, and a secure yard to keep her safe on all her adventures.<br/><br/>Regan may be an escape artist, but she’s really just searching for is a place to belong.<br/><br/>ADOPT<br/>To adopt, come see us!
