Meet Reese, a sweet, handsome 3-year-old Lab mix who needs a miracle immediately. Reese was found at an abandoned home in Alabama, surviving thanks to kind street feeders. Then, animal control swept through and brought him to a high-kill shelter, where his days are now numbered. We just learned about Reese and couldn’t turn our backs on him—but now we need your help to save his life.

Reese is the shelter’s longest resident, which means he’s first in line for euthanasia due to space. Despite his tough start, Reese is an absolute sweetheart who loves other dogs and even acts as the shelter’s dog tester. He’s cautious but calm around cats, and he adores people. With piercing eyes and a gentle soul, Reese weighs just 39 lbs and is ready for the chance to be loved in a real home.
