Reese Chihuahua & Toy Fox Terrier Mix Lafayette, CA

Meet 2-year-old, 9 pound Reese, the adorable tricolor Chihuahua mix. She is a shy & timid tiny pup - very sweet & submissive. She loves a good belly rub! She’s dog friendly and even OK with cats. Reese came to us from a shelter in the Central Valley but is thriving in foster care. She will need a gentle, patient family to help her gain confidence. Her personality will blossom as she has time to decompress & acclimate in her new home. She is working on potty & crate training.

Thank you for reading about our awesome dog. All dogs came to us from different situations and we often do not know much about their past, but they are rescue dogs who deserve a second chance and need patience on their journey. Our dogs are in foster homes across the Bay Area.

The first step in the process is to submit an application (link below) in order to set up a meet and greet or talk with the foster family. Once the application is submitted, the foster parents will contact you to chat more about the dog and make sure they're a good fit, and can answer any further questions. The application answers most of our questions in order to best match you. If you do not get the dog you apply for we can use your same application for 90 days towards another dog in our care and simply forward your app to that foster parent.

All dogs will be fully vetted (Spay/Neutered, Microchipped, DHPP and Rabies Vaccinated) and other possible vet care prior to adoption.

The adoption fee is $300 which is considered a non-refundable donation.
