Meet Reed
Reed is a sweet, snuggly, and smart young Labrador retriever mix pup. He is house-trained and great with dogs of all sizes. He absolutely loves to eat and literally prances and jumps in circles when its dinner time. When Reed isn’t playing with his dog friends, he loves to lounge on the couch, snuggle and give kisses. His favorite places are on your lap or laying next to you where he can snuggle up to nap - he's a pretty little boy at 25 lbs. He needs some time to get used to his surroundings but his personality really comes out when he gets comfortable!
Reed is going through the “kleptomaniac with an oral fixation” phase of puppyhood and, though he has many toys and loves them all, he assumes that a lot of things look interesting and is not averse to a “steal and run.” Thankfully Reed is also very smart, eager to learn, and incredibly food motivated! He also taught himself how to open doors that have lever handles and he often goes out with his dog friends when they would rather be outside. Reed will flourish in an environment with lots of love, positive reinforcement, and a focused effort toward obedience training.
