Red is an 8 year old redbone coonhound looking for a new place to call home. He is a large, regal looking fellow with a friendly disposition. He is very relaxed around people and generous with his affection. Red has lived outside his whole life and seems to prefer being outdoors most of the time, he would love to have a big fenced yard to explore. He walks very well on a leash for a beginner and enjoys going for walks and checking out all the scents. Red has a classic, independent coonhound personality. He loves spending time with people but he doesn't demand your undivided attention. He's happy to lay around napping in the sunshine while you are at work or equally satisfied to join you on a hike. Red hasn't shown any interest in the other dogs at his kennel. He doesn't try to interact with them but also doesn't seem to mind them being around. He's a pretty lowkey guy until the food comes out, then he's 80 lbs of hungry hound dog! Red is an enthusiastic eater and needs to be fed separately from other dogs.
