Are you looking for the ultimate couch potato and snuggle bug that loves lounging in the sun, short walks and belly rubs? Red is still looking for a special home! Red is 3 years old, 60lbs, extremely dog friendly and would do OK with cats. Red has some special needs and we know that there has to be a very special person out there that is willing to give him the life he deserves! Red not only has stranger danger, but, he also has injuries to his hind legs. There is a chance that he will eventually need TPLO surgery (Underdog will cover this!). He would be the best dog for someone looking for a companion, he bonds very quickly if you’re around enough. Red is an amazing dog when he is with people he trusts, he is eager to learn and so very smart! Because of his special needs, we need all the shares we can get for this special boy!

Things we are looking for in a home:
-Low traffic, patient household
-No children
-Experience with bully breeds
-He would love to have a doggy sibling to learn from, but we know that he does fine solo as well
-Willing to muzzle train and work on his fears
-Daily supplements to strengthen his joints
-Someone that can see his potential and give him a chance!

Thank you for reading about our awesome dog. All dogs came to us from different situations and we often do not know much about their past, but they are rescue dogs who deserve a second chance and need patience on their journey. All of our dogs our are in foster homes all across the bay area.

The first step of the process is you must submit an application in order to set up a meet and great or talk with the foster family. Once application is submitted the foster parents will contact you to chat more about the dog and make sure they're a good fit and can answer any further question. The application answers most of all of our questions and can best match you. If you do not get the dog you apply for we can use your same application for 90 days towards another dog in our care and simply forward your app to that foster parent.

All dogs will be fully vetted (Spay/ Neutered, Micro chipped, DHPP and Rabies Vaccinated) and other possible vet care prior to adoption.

The adoption fee is $300, which is considered a non refundable donation
