Rebel-I1954 German Shepherd Dog Anoka, MN

7.16.20 update: Rebel, a 4 yr female German Shepherd. She came to rescue a year ago June 2019 at 118#. Waiting for her check up for this year and her "weight" check in. She has been on a diet. I should post a before picture on my next post. She has really changed in personality. She loves to play ball, she does need a 6' fenced yard as she is not a fan of small animals. Probably needs to be an only dog as well. Great with all people, grew up with children around. She enjoys being outside but LOVES being inside where there is heat and air conditioning, since she originally was never a house dog but rather lived in a garage. We want her to continue being a companion living in a house. won't you consider this beautiful purebred German Shepherd.


Jan 2020 update: Rebel is a German Shepherd female who comes to rescue as an owner surrender. She was born on 1.14.16 and her adoption fee is $250.00. She is completely vetted including her spay and a microchip. Rebel has learned much while being in rescue since June of 2019. She knows sit, down, catch, retrieve the ball, LOVES TO PLAY BALL. She is working on healing. She loves being an inside dog as she had lived in a garage her entire live before rescue.

Rebel is an alpha female. She does not like other dogs or animals This is part of he.r DNA. However, she loves her humans and can be a snuggler. She needs a 6' fenced yard to keep her safe. She makes a wonderful companion to a family without any other pets. She loves to go for car rides and be with her humans. She is house broken. She needs obedience training and a strong pack leader that will show her who is boss(a kind, alpha pack leader). She came to rescue at 118# and is on a diet currently. For her bone size we are thinking her ideal weight will be around 70 or 75#. She has a medium size frame.
