Meet Raymond
Meet Raymond!
Raymond is an approximately 18-month old male Dachshund/Terrier mix and weighs around 25 lbs. He was rescued after his former owner died and he was taken to a local shelter.
Raymond is just the sweetest boy! So good-natured and loving. He craves attention and is gaining confidence in a foster home. He was unsure of himself and very shy when we first rescued him. His former owner had been ill for some time and unable to work with him.
He adores other dogs and loves to play! He will need a very secure stockade fenced back yard to run in! A home with another confident and playful dog is required. Raymond is in a foster home with cats, but we recommend that you crate any new dog to a home with cats when you are away, until you are certain they are okay to be left alone together.
Raymond just has so much potential and just needs a loving and patient home to help him achieve his best life! He is a very affectionate boy and loves attention!
Raymond is crate and house-trained but will need assistance with leash training. He has improved in both skills since we have had him in foster, but patient, positive enforcement may still be needed in a new environment.
He is neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200.
