Dog's Name: Ray Ray
Estimated Breed: Beagle Mix
Approximate Age: 8-10 years
Approximate Weight: 40 lbs
Currently Living at: Foster
Adoption Fee: $200
Ray Ray is a sweet and gentle soul who is totally blind but still gets around pretty well! This mature fellow is hoping to find a caring forever home where he can feel safe, secure, and loved. Ray Ray will need some basic training in the areas of housetraining and walking on leash. He is looking for a quiet, calm, and mature household. Little kids would be too much for him. Older children (12+) would be fine. He would be happiest with quick and easy access to a backyard for bathroom breaks. If you have the right home environment for this laid-back, sweet boy, please submit an application!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers cannot guarantee that our dogs won't have accidents in their new home, even if they are fully house broken in their current foster home as they have to adjust to new environment, routine, and schedule. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention (while in our care), monthly flea/tick prevention, and our transport costs. As part of the adoption agreement, adopters agree to get the pup spayed/neutered by 6 months of age. K-9 Lifesavers do not cover the cost of spay/neuter for puppies 6 months and younger.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home. For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit or email our Foster Coordinator at
