Adoption Area: East Tennessee

Raven needs:
-Active adult home or one with children over 7
-Someone home during the day
-If another dog in the home, it needs to be playful and the same size or larger than Raven

Raven is an 8-month-old, 19-pound female Terrier mix puppy that is super loving and cuddly. She enjoys watching movies and is great when going on walks. She is great with kids, however, she would not do well with children under age 7 because she likes to jump/springboard when playing and showing her affection. She currently lives with 2 adults and 2 children aged 7 and 9 and does well.

Raven needs to be with a family that works from home, retired, stays at home, or easily able to check on her during a lunch hour because she is extremely energetic and needs supervision because she is still a puppy in her biting/chewing phase. She also requires a lot of activity, otherwise she could get into mischief. Although car rides are not her favorite, she handles them very well. She is potty trained as long as you make time to take her out. She does not do well with pee pads and prefers to potty outside.

Raven does really well in a crate and she recently attended a 2 week board & train session with Sit Means Sit to help her with commands and impulse control. This training is lifetime guaranteed and help can be accessed at any time.

Finally, Raven works well with other dogs her age and size (or bigger). She must not be paired with any dogs smaller than her, it will not work as she is too rough with her play skills and is unaware of her size. So no tiny Chihuahuas please!

Much like with any puppy, she will need continued practice with her training. She also has a bit of separation anxiety, but her training has helped significantly with this.

She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Raven loves to give kisses, and would make a great companion for the right home looking for an active, playful friend. Raven’s adoption fee is $175.
