Rascal English Bulldog & French Bulldog Mix North Haven, CT

Rascal is a sweet boy that came to our shelter by way of our rescue partners in Georgia.

Due to irresponsible breeding (we’re assuming some combination of French Bulldog/English Bulldog/possibly bully breed), Rascal was born with severely deformed legs. He gets around ok, but slick surfaces can be a challenge. Stairs are nearly impossible for him as well.

While Rascal is healthy, we expect him to have serious issues with arthritis as he ages. We’ve started him on over the counter joint supplements to help slow down the progression of arthritis.

Other than his legs, Rascal is a happy and friendly boy with so much love to give. Rascal would be a perfect family dog for kids 10+. He gets along well with other dogs and has never met a stranger.

Rascal is about 3-4 years old. He is neutered and vaccinated for Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella. He tested negative for heartworm and tick borne diseases and is current on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Rascal is also microchipped with a lifetime registration.
