Meet Ranger

Ranger is approx. 6 months old, a hound/pit mix and finally in New England. Ranger was attacked by another dog and almost lost his eye due to this. He has a little extra fold/scar tissue on his eye, but it is healing great and will keep it! Ranger thinks he is a puppy model. He is in a home with other dogs and was previously in a home with children over 5 years of age. He will need someone dedicated to working through his food and toy guarding, and his foster is doing great as he takes verbal correction well, but is a super smart and amazing boy!

Please note: We do not have a physical facility and the dogs are not located in Hudson, NH. We are a foster-based rescue and dogs can be located anywhere in New England. All adopters must be pre-approved to arrange a meet and greet, and the adopter is expected to travel to the dog's location. We do not transport once the dogs arrive in New England. Applications must be submitted at HarveysHope.org for consideration. We estimate it will be 1-2 weeks before you hear from one of our volunteers. Thank you!
