Meet Ramona!
Ramona was found as a stray and, unfortunately, never reclaimed. She's a sweet and spirited girl with a lot of love to give-but she also has a bit of a sneaky side! Ramona will try to bolt past you if the opportunity arises, so a secure, fenced yard is a must for her safety. She can be especially nervous in a new home and will need more than a day to settle in and get comfortable. She is a very clingy girl that will paw you when you stop petting her.
She walks decently on a leash and is crate-trained, although she'll definitely let you know that being crated isn't her favorite thing.
Ramona did well with cats in her foster home. She has not yet been officially dog tested, so as always, we highly recommend a meet-and-greet with any current household dogs to ensure compatibility. She has shown to resource guard her food with the dogs in neighboring kennels.
We're still getting to know Ramona and will continue to update her profile as we learn more about her unique personality.
Romana is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
