Introducing Alpine! Alpine is around 65lbs and is approximately 18-24 months old. He's a stunning Husky. We just love that he's bi-eyed! It makes him so unique!

Alpine came from a shelter outside Memphis TN. We have no information prior to him entering the shelter.

Alpine is a very sweet and friendly boy. He loves everyone he meets and has never met a stranger. He's described as a gentle giant by his foster parent. He is well mannered and polite. He does fairly well on a leash. He's pretty easy to handle. Even though he's a sled dog he won't drag you down the street. Alpine is also very good with the other dogs he's currently living with. They range from about 60lbs. He enjoys playing with his canine companions. He enjoys the big back yard at his foster's home as well. His forever home must have a fenced yard to play and romp in. He definitely needs some space when he gets the zoomies! Alpine is actually very quiet for a husky. He rarely barks or howls. He loves belly rubs. He's treat motivated and very smart. He knows how to sit and would love for you to work with him to teach him all kinds of cool tricks. He is kennel and house trained.

We do not know how he'd be with cats but in general, huskies tend to have a high prey drive so a cat free home will probably be best. He's good with children school age and up.

This awesome boy will make a wonderful addition to pretty much any home. He's a good boy for a first time husky owner although breed experience is preferred.

Alpine is fully vetted, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, is neutered and microchipped and on monthly prevention.

The adoption fee is $500. It helps defray some of the costs involved with vetting and caring for the dogs in the rescue and it also includes the cost of transporting Alpine up north. There are NO other fees.

You MUST have a verifiable vet reference.
You MUST have a fenced yard.

TRANSPORT: Currently we have weekly transports. It will be up to the adoptive family to meet the transport to pick up your new family member. Please be advised that our dogs are adopted to their forever families prior to being transported. Unfortunately, at this time, we cannot bring dogs for a typical meet and greet situation, due to the extensiveness of the transport distance and it being unfair for the dogs who are not adopted to have to make the trip back.
