Meet Rainey!

RAINEY - 8yrs old, female, HW+. She’s goofy and cuddly and sweet. She loves to play with toys and puts her favorites in special places, like on the bed or on a pillow. In the morning she’ll wake you up by sticking her head under the covers. She does the cutest little army crawl when she wants someone to play with her. Rainey will do best in a securely fence yard because she loves sunbathing and sniffing around. We are working on leash manners and she seems to be learning quickly.

Rainey is house trained and crate trained. She has moderate energy, she has playful moments and loves walks too. She enjoys the company of other dogs! She is fantastic with children! She does have a really long tail that she loves to wag a lot that may surprise a child if they get hit by it, though!

Unfortunately the hound in her means no cats or small animals! Her prey drive is in her nature, and don’t think this old gal won’t be able to catch ‘em. Speaking of that, this girl is very quiet, unless she’s outside and spots a squirrel, bunny etc in which case you will hear her! She’s also good on a leash, unless again, she seems something the hound in her instinctually wants to chase.

This girls loves toys, playing, and her humans!
