Rain Husky Severn, MD

Sweet senior princess Rain is in search of a golden throne for her to lay her fluffy bottom on (if you don't have a throne, she gladly accepts soft dog beds). At 10 years old, Rain's days of roughhousing and going for long runs are behind her, but she doesn't mind--she much prefers napping, grooming her toys like they're her babies, and receiving lots and lots of pets.

Rain loves going for lazy walks around the neighborhood, stopping occasionally to smell the roses (or more likely, grass). At home, she prefers to be near her humans, keeping a watchful eye on her kingdom. She's gentle, intelligent, and very loving. If you've been looking for a companion who will snuggle up near you for a Netflix movie marathon, Rain's your girl.

Rain enjoys the company of other dogs,
and may enjoy a friend who wants to play every now and then. At the Sanctuary, Rain showed positive behavior when meeting a cat. Rain may also do well in a home with children who are old enough to respect and understand her boundaries.
