Meet Ragu!

Ragu is a sweet, goofy, kissy-face beagle/plott hound dog mix. He is absolutely charming when he looks at you with his classic “puppy dog eyes" and he has the cutest white whisker antennas on his eyebrows! Ragu is approximately 35 pounds at 17 weeks of age, and he is thought to be headed towards the 50 to 65 pound range when fully mature. Ragu loves attention and going for walks with his foster mom and her kids. Ragu loves kids an he is also good with other dogs and cats. He is neutered and up-to-date on all of his vaccines. Ragu is crate training very well and is also learning how to walk on lead like a dapper gentleman! Ragu would do great in most any type of family and he can’t wait to meet his forever humans!

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
