Rags Terrier & Poodle Mix Garland, TX

Hi! My name is Rags, and I'm looking for my forever home. I was probably born in 2011. I'm an older guy who's never had an accident inside. I'm a floppy teddy bear with short legs. My foster mom says she's so lucky to have such a sweet and goofy foster dog. I like to go on car rides so I can stick my head out the window - it's so fun to notice all the interesting smells and feel the wind in my fur! I'm really great on my leash and love to go on walks. I go to work with her at doggy daycare all the time. I love playing with all my furry friends and greeting the people that come by. I'll roll over for anyone who wants to scratch my belly! It works out great for me since I LOVE attention. I like to follow my foster mom around when we're at home so that I can supervise what she's doing. Whether it's cooking in the kitchen, doing laundry, or just cuddling on the couch watching TV, I like to be close by. I'm extremely loyal to whoever I bond with. I hope my new forever home won't mind having a "Velcro dog" because I'll stick right to your side.

I get along with the other dogs at daycare, and even play well with all the chickens free ranging in my foster Mom's yard! I haven't met a cat yet, but I'd probably play well with them too. Everyone says I look like Benji but I don't see the resemblance. My favorite thing to do when you first come home is run around the house with a toy in my mouth: I just get so excited to see you! I do really well in the crate since I'm a good boy and I'm always quiet. I like to eat my treats and meals in there. My foster mom trusts me enough to let me roam around the house while she's gone. I know how to sit, stay, come, and lay down. I'd love to learn more tricks, especially if there are treats involved! I want to be the only dog in my new forever home since I don't like sharing the spotlight. I'm uncomfortable around smaller children so I'd like to be in a child free home too. I need an owner who can set boundaries for me. I'm stubborn sometimes but I listen when humans are firm with me. I need an experienced owner who can help me be the great dog I know I can be!
