Meet Rae! Rae is a female terrier mix, who is a little over a year old and weighs around 35 lbs, and working to gain some weight. Rae is as cute as can be and has an adorable personality to match! She is house trained, walks well on a leash, and is good with kids and dogs! Rae has never lived with a cat but she visited a home with one and was able to calmly be in the same room with one. Rae is very intelligent and food motivated which helps in training. We could go on and on about how awesome Rae is, but before you fall totally in love with her there is one "negative" that you should know.

Rae suffers from confinement anxiety and does not do well when left home alone. She will cry and pace while waiting for her humans to return. Her former owners who surrendered her due to having to return to work strongly feel that Rae would feel less anxious if she had some doggy siblings to keep her company! Or someone who doesn't leave the house without her. Rae and her former family had worked with a behaviorist. We can provide resources to her future home in hopes that they continue her training where the last family left off! If you're home a lot or have the time to put in the training before returning to work please apply to meet Rae!

Foster to adopt ("2 week trial period") is available to potential homes to see if doggy siblings really would help her separation anxiety! Please inquire with any questions!

Adoption Fee is $350
She is up to date on vaccines and has had a wellness exam, heartworm tested and micro-chipped.
