Rachel's Story

Precious Rachel! Oh how we love this little girl! She is a one year old boxer mix. Rachel came to us only a 10-12 weeks hold with a pelvic fracture and hernia. She was kicked by the person who had her repeatedly to have suffered those injuries. Thankfully our amazing vet got her fixed up, and she is ready to find her forever home!

Rachel is incredibly dog friendly. She loves having her foster fur siblings around to play with! She is a big runner and would love a human to join her. She'll get you into shape! Rachel chases cats, so we're unsure how she would do inside a home. Due to this we would place her in a cat free home. Rachel can be a bit shy when you first meet her, but quickly opens up to people. She loves everyone, so kids would be a definite plus.

Rachel's adopter needs a fenced in yard to keep her safely contained. She is HW -, microchipped, up to date on shots & preventions.

If you can open up your heart to this sweetie, please put in your application here:
https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRIN/Dog

Brindlee Mountain Animal Rescue Inc's Adoption Policy
We place companion animals in loving, responsible, committed homes, following a comprehensive adoption process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a pet into their homes and lives. Animals in our care are spayed or neutered and receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment. Our adoption fees vary because of the breed size, and normal vet cost. This is intended to cover the costs of having the animal fully vetted and the costs of caring for the animal prior to placement in a home. Many of the animals we help have veterinary costs which are much higher than the adoption fee. For these animals, we rely on donations and small fundraisers to offset those costs.
