This spunky and spirited little guy is searching for his forever home! ¡Queso! is a little softy once her warms up to you and gives lots of affection and kisses. He bonds deeply and quickly to his person and would do best in a single person home without children, other dogs or small animals. ¡Queso! would make an excellent running partner or agility dog with some training! ¡Queso! is super smart and would benefit from obedience training and an active lifestyle. He absolutely LOVES running and playing in a securely fenced yard but would also do well as a walking, jogging or running partner where all activities take place on a leash. ¡Queso! is housebroken, has good in-home manners, and does well when crated.

All Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, heartworm tested, current on heartworm and flea prevention, and microchipped.

A Fenced Yard is preferred for ¡Queso! but not required to adopt.

Our adoption area, unless otherwise specified in their bio, is within a two hour radius of Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue for adult dogs, and within a one hour radius for puppies.

Adoption events are held every Saturday in our thrift store from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Please complete your adoption application in advance so our volunteers have time to screen and contact potential adopters.

IMPORTANT: All applications are reviewed in the order they are received and qualifications are based on best fit for each individual pet. A volunteer will contact you if you are selected for a meet with adoptable pet. Final approval is always made in person.
