Meet Queenie

The queens coming through! Meet Queenie, the cutest Jack Russel Terrier Mix you'll ever see! She is two years old, weighing around 11 pounds. She may be small, but her personality is big! She is so fun and playful! She loves carrying soft toys around and wants all the affection she can get. She loves being held, getting all the belly rubs, and of course kisses! She is a love bug but also loves playing! She loves showing off her zooms in fenced-in areas, playing fetch, and rolling around in the grass. Queenie also does very well on a leash and enjoys going on nice walks, she enjoys new scenery! She is very smart and is also doing well with her house and crate training. Treats are her favorite and help her stay focused when training. She is so excited to meet her forever family and will be the perfect companion.

Queenie is spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.

Given the conditions Queenie originated from, upon rescue, she tested positive for Heartworm disease. Thanks to Home for Good Dog Rescue, Queenie has completed her Heartworm treatment.

*Heartworm disease is a serious and if left untreated, fatal disease. It is caused by foot-long worms (heartworms) that live in the heart, lungs, and associated blood vessels of affected animals, causing severe lung disease, heart failure, and damage to other organs in the body. Mosquitoes are carriers of heartworms and have the ability to infect dogs all year round, especially in the Southeastern portion of the United States and during the summer months.*
