This litter was born on November 26th 2020 - their mother was saved a forced abortion 3 days before she was due to give birth. The shelter was going to spay her while she was pregnant and terminate pregnancy.

Applications for adoption are OFFICIALLY open for 7 days. Please read through and click the link at the bottom of this post for the application. If instructions aren’t followed, it’s possible you’ll miss the opportunity to adopt a pup.

Things to keep in mind:
1. Adopters will be required to purchase a training package from an approved (by us) balanced trainer.

2. Puppies will be spayed/neutered at 20 weeks, we will not make exceptions unless there is a medical reason that the dog cannot be put under for spay/neuter. No, we won’t wait till 1 year - Yes, we are aware of *possible* adverse growth affects of spaying/neutering young. Our concern is liability and avoiding accidental pregnancy. If you’re concerned about our spay/neuter policy, there are hundreds of other rescues that you can adopt from :)

3. The adoption process is lengthy, after you submit your application you will receive a follow up email within 10 days either with the next steps or advising we are declining to move forward. Please do not call/email within those 10 days advising you haven’t heard from us. If you haven’t heard from us by 10 days, feel free to email. As a reminder, every single person in our rescue is a volunteer. Once you submit the application you should get confirmation that it was submitted, if you didn’t receive confirmation then the application wasn’t submitted.

4. Puppies (or dogs) are NOT adopted out on a “first come, first serve” basis. They are adopted out by best fit - which is at our discretion.

5. We will not be accepting out of state adoptions at this time.

6. It would be HIGHLY beneficial to follow our Instagram: (@californiabullyrescue) to understand our mission and our policies/stances on: training, training tools, flex leashes, crate training, harnesses, dog parks, INSURANCE, multi-dog households, etc.

Adoption fee for puppies are $500 - they will have all medical taken care of (multiple sets of vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, microchip, rabies) and they’ve already started participating in training with our trainer.
