Meet Punkin JuM
I have a PSA, Punkin Service Announcement. Who invented the game of punkin chunkin’? Throwing punkins is not nice, I know they aren’t really alive, but maybe they still had aspawrations to be a Jack o latern, or a pie, or a Cinderella carriage. Once you chunk that punkin, you have ended all their career options. So please next time you consider the Fall Festival activity of punkin chunkin, please think about this and the delish pie that you missed out on. Thank you, now onto the main epawsode…me…
My name is Punkin because I was saved right before Halloween and I am indeed the color of a pumpkin, even my eyeballs are…see….*bats her eye lashes*, hence the name Punkin, because I am from Texas, and we like to say stuff different to be cool. I also have a dollop of whippy cream on my face and chest. Speaking of whippy cream, I need some sprinkled on my kibble, because I am in dire need of a weight gain.
The cutest thing about me is not my name though, it is my nubby tail. I think someone chopped it off when I was a puppy to make me look more like a Boxer dog, but I look like a Vizsla too- I have the sleek/athletic body of both breeds!! I am furmiliar with walking on a leash, staying in a crate and just an all around good mid-aged dog at about 3 years of experience in being a good girl.
I came from the city shelter, very skinny, like my rib cage was very noticeable. But the rescue ladies have been giving me extra yummies to help me put on the pounds, I weigh 40 lbs now, but should weigh closer to 50 and be a solid medium almost crossing to large gal. I am currently living with other dogs, both my size and smaller and I made friends with all of them.
And even though I am very hungry and practically starving, I take treats ever so gently from you human hand. If you want a mellow dog that will wiggle and shake it like a pumpkin flavored milk shake as soon as you get home from work, then I am the punkin for you.
