Pumpkin American Staffordshire Terrier Carrollton, TX

Pumpkin loves to play hard with her foster brother, then curl up on the sofa for snuggles! She has the cutest dopey look, but dont let that fool you! She is a smart one year old girl who loves training and enrichment games!

We knew she was special from the moment we rescued her from the shelter! Sweet little Pumpkin had been surrendered to the shelter in bad shape. She had extensive hair loss and was super itchy. Despite being neglected her whole short life and feeling miserably, she was the sweetest thing to all the staff. The staff reached out to Mazies Mission Rescue asking for help. One of our long-time fosters stepped up to take her in. That allowed our vets to start treating her right away! She had a nasty skin infection and was battling an upper respiratory infection. She has long since been cleared from her upper respiratory infection, and although her skin has improved, our veterinarians continue to go down the list of diet changes and treatments to help her stay comfortable.
