Meet Pumpkin
Pumpkin is a gentle sweetheart who would love to be your snuggle buddy. She zooms around to play with her puppy brother, but never misses the opportunity to crawl into your lap for a quick nap. She may be a little reserved around new people, but it takes her less than 10 seconds to absolutely adore you and greet you like you are the best human in the world.
Pumpkin, and her brother Patch, came to NALA Rescue covered in fleas, filled with worms, and very new to the lifestyle of an indoor pet. These babies and the rest of their litter are the predictable result of an Oklahoma household with multiple unfixed adult dogs and limited veterinary access. Mama is a boxer pitty mix and dad is a Pyrenees mix.
Pumpkin has been working hard on potty training both outside and on potty pads. She is a smart little gal who knows who to sit for treats. Pumpkin and her brother Patch sleep through the night in a crate, especially after a day of play and snuggles. Pumpkin will thrive in a home that continues to support her as she masters manners.
The pups in this litter were born in late June, and are about 10-15lbs with plenty of potential to grow much bigger. Pumpkin would make a great addition to any family as she gets along with other dogs, cats, and children.
Your adoption donation with NALA Rescue covers treatment for parasites, vaccinations (DAP, Bordetella, Rabies, Lepto), spay / neuter, treatment for coccidia and giardia, and basic veterinary care needed upon intake.
