Must have a physically fenced in yard and live in Rochester area to adopt. As sweet as he is, as a chow mix he would not be a good selection for a first time dog owner.

Meet Puff! This 16 week old gorgeous Chow Chow and Samoyed mix is as sweet as he is cute and fluffy! When he looks at you with his soft blue eyes, he will melt your heart.

Puff currently weighs around 20lbs, but is expected to be around 50lbs. Puff is a typical busy little puppy. He loves running around in a fenced in yard and playing with balls and toys - especially squeaky ones, and chewing on Nyla bones. He's completely housebroken, knows how to sit, comes when called (most of the time), and is working on learning to shake. He does great in a car and will ride quietly in the passenger seat.

Puff is completely crate trained, and sleeps in there at night and is crated during the day when his foster is at work. When his foster is home, he loves to hang out and play with the other dogs in the house. He is not destructive at all.

Puff loves every person and every dog he meets. He loves to play play play, and take naps in between. He loves affection and attention, but because he still has his sharp little puppy teeth we think he would do best in a home with older kids. He hasn’t been cat tested, but we think he would be very curious and want to play, so we think a home without cats would be best.

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally, if fencing is required it must be a physical fence and in place at time of home visit.

All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption.
