Meet Prudence!

Prudence is a 9 year old yorkie mix who will become your shadow as soon as she meets you. She does great with other dogs and we have no reason to believe she wouldn't do fine with older kids as well. She also coexists with a cat in her foster home without issues. Prudence gets very excited when she sees her people. She will smile with her mouth wide open and wiggle her butt like crazy! Prudence’s favorite thing is to be on or next to you at all times and makes an excellent snuggle buddy. Pru loves going for walks and does great on a leash! With a consistent schedule, Pru has proven to be house broken and is doing great with her crate training as well. Because Pru is such a companion animal, a house where someone is home a lot would be ideal. Prudence recently underwent 2 big surgeries, a dental procedure where she had rotted teeth removed and a large fistula closed and the 2nd being a spay and removal of multiple mammary masses. We had those biopsied and the good news is they all came back benign! Something to note- due to chronic dry eyes, Prudence will need to be kept on eye drops 3 times a day for the rest of her life but other than that Pru has been cleared by the vet for adoption!

An adoption fee of $250 includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, flea and heartworm preventatives if appropriate, and all necessary medical costs while in our care.
