Every royal has their story, and Prince Arthur is no different. At 8 years old and a petite 9 lbs, this little Yorkie came to us as an owner surrender and is now searching for a quiet kingdom of his own.

Prince Arthur is slow to trust and can be reactive when meeting new people - he's not the type to roll out the welcome mat right away. But hey, who doesn't love a challenge? With patience, consistency, and respect for his boundaries, this little guy starts to show his softer side. Once you're in his circle, he'll happily accept belly rubs and gentle pets - on his terms, of course.

He would do best in a calm, adult-only home with no other pets. His ideal match? A special person who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let Arthur come out of his shell at his own pace.

While he's still working on his social skills, Prince Arthur is already royalty when it comes to potty training - he's remarkably clean in his kennel and rarely has accidents.

If you're patient, experienced, and ready to earn the love of a dog who doesn't give it away easily, Prince Arthur might just be your perfect match. He's not for everyone - but for the right person, he's everything.

Adoption fee is: $300

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
