Prince German Shepherd Dog Mix Palatine, IL

Ladies and Gentlemen of the court we present to you, his Highness…Prince!!
 
Prince is a very regal 2-year-old, 51-pound Shepherd mix looking for his next empire! 
 
True to his name, he’s a very stately fellow. Will he go potty in your house? No dog of his stature would do such a thing! Will he go into his castle (crate) willingly? Of course! (Although he may have a few royal proclamations to dole out before he settles in.) Is he a great walking companion? As long as he’s wearing his royal harness, he will happily survey his kingdom (your neighborhood) with you. He loves all of his subjects, including the tiny peasants (children) and furry serfs (other dogs). All he demands in return is lots and lots of attention and ear scratches (like most royals). This social butterfly is happiest when he’s with his people, chasing tennis balls, and chomping on his kong toy.
 
But alas… he does have some areas where he could be a little more princely. He was found as a stray, so he’s not used to regular feedings and can get a little protective of his food (and yours!). He can sometimes be a little jumpy and he’ll counter surf if the peasants (humans) aren’t paying attention. He’s just starting to work on some basic commands, but he’s a smart fella, and doing very well. Prince will need to find a realm where the kings and queens will be patient with him, and invest some time in teaching him some proper, royal etiquette.
 
He is a laid back and loving boy who will surely bring lots of joy to your kingdom, so fill out an application today!
