Meet Primrose
Come meet Primrose and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (03/23) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Silver Spring, MD (12020 Cherry Hill Road, Silver Spring, MD 20904)!
Name: Primrose Best Guess for Breed: Spaniel and hound mix
Best Guess for Age: 1 - 4 years (We have two opinions on age for Primrose -- the shelter vet aged her at 4 years old when she arrived and the Virginia vet has aged her at 1 year old. Both ages are a best guess by the vet.) SEX: Female
Approximate Weight: 20 lbs as of March 2025
Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested
Currently Living at: DC area foster home
Primrose is Looking For: Her forever home! This sweetie landed in the shelter through no fault of her own and is eager to once again have her own humans for sniffy walks, romps in the park, and all the adventures they can dream up. Quality kibble and treats and a cushy dog bed sound good to her, as do checking out all the toys to see which she likes best and going to dog school so she can show how super smart she is.... But you know what? She's out of the puppy yips and as a wise, experienced dog, knows what's most important in life. Being safe and loved and under her own roof.
She has quite the stockpile of adoring gazes and tail wags saved up and is ready to bestow them all upon her new family, along with loyal companionship. What do you say? Is this sweet face the one you want to wake up to every morning for many, many days to come?Notes from the Shelter: Primrose likes to play and has a more gentle play style when she is in playgroup with other dogs. She also walks well on leash.
What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once she has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with her foster
