Prima and her brother Clovis were rescued by a kind stranger on the side of the road in Jordan after their mom was tragically hit by a car. While their story started in heartbreak, they were taken in and cared for by a loving family who gave them a shot at a better life.<br/><br/>Now almost 2 years old, Prima is a beautiful, sensitive dog who’s been through more than her fair share. She was adopted but heartbreakingly returned in a deeply fearful state, suggesting she may have experienced mistreatment or trauma during her time away. Life hasn’t always been kind to Prima, and she’s still learning that the world — and people — can be safe.<br/><br/>Prima is very shy and cautious at first. She needs a calm, quiet household with patient people who will give her the time and space to settle in and rebuild trust at her own pace.
