Prima's Story

Prima and her brother Clovis were rescued by a kind stranger on the side of the road in Jordan after their mom was tragically hit by a car. While their story started in heartbreak, they were taken in and cared for by a loving family who gave them a shot at a better life.

Now almost 2 years old, Prima is a beautiful, sensitive dog who’s been through more than her fair share. She was adopted but heartbreakingly returned in a deeply fearful state, suggesting she may have experienced mistreatment or trauma during her time away. Life hasn’t always been kind to Prima, and she’s still learning that the world — and people — can be safe.

Prima is very shy and cautious at first. She needs a calm, quiet household with patient people who will give her the time and space to settle in and rebuild trust at her own pace. We are looking for someone who understands that Prima will take time to feel safe and begin to trust again.

With consistency, gentleness, and love, Prima will slowly come out of her shell — and when she does, her sweet and affectionate personality shines. She’s incredibly snuggly once she feels secure and gives the most heart-melting hugs.

Prima is smart and learns routines quickly. She’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find the kind, understanding family she truly deserves.

Prima is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find the loving, understanding family she truly deserves.

Foster-to-adopt option available.

TO APPY FOR PRIMA, PLEASE READ BELOW:

Please submit an application on www.gwarp.org or copy and paste: https://gwarp.org/adoption-application/ in your browser.
