Meet Preston

When Preston’s owner unexpectedly passed away, his world turned upside down. His family, overwhelmed by his size and specific needs, reached out for help—wanting to keep him out of the shelter but unsure how to care for him properly. Now safe with our rescue, Preston is slowly beginning to heal and adjust in a calm, loving foster home.

This gentle giant is incredibly sweet and affectionate, but understandably heartbroken and confused. He’ll need a patient, experienced adopter—someone who understands what he’s been through and can give him the structure and stability he deserves.

Preston will need to be the only pet in the home and requires an adopter with prior Great Dane experience. Continued training will be essential to help him thrive in his forever home.

He will be neutered and receive a stomach tack procedure through our rescue—an important preventative step for large breeds like him. We’re currently gathering quotes to ensure the best care possible for this special boy.
