Mary-Kate and Ashley. Kylie and Kendall. Venus and Serena. Add “Penny and Precious” to the mix and you get the All-Time Top Sister Pairs!!! Penny and Precious were dumped together way out in the country in very rural Arkansas, 2 sweet sisters whose dire situation was lost on them. Thankfully a kind woman took them in and cared for them for a bit, thinking maybe someone would come looking for them. But of course, no one did. So we got them into our program at the shelter we like to call "The Group Home" and they have been amazing us ever since.

We really want to keep these two beautiful sisters together simply because they are truly joined at the hip. They're the kind who "finish each other's sentences", take every step together without even thinking about it, seem to have inside jokes together and even seem to read each other's minds! Because of their bond, we're not sure whose hearts would break more if they were separated: theirs or ours. We're looking for a person or a family whose hearts can open wider than they ever thought possible to let these two sweet girls stay together for life. We know whoever does, will understand immediately just how special and beautiful their bond is.

Penny and Precious are super social with everyone -- they just love people, love to be petted and, if you think you're sitting in that chair alone think again because before you know it, "someone's" little paws will be in your lap nudging you to let her climb up, while "someone else's" little nose might be nudging you for another belly rub! They're still puppies, still have their moments of puppy zoomies, and that means double trouble (in the cutest way). But they're never underfoot and know how to give you space when you need it. And of course they'll always be able to amuse themselves if you're too busy.

Penny is the tri-colored girl and she’s a bit more the “brains of the operation”. Precious is mostly golden-and-white and is very much the little sister: she’s physically smaller, she’s a bit more the instigator at playtime, and she is very comfortable taking Penny’s lead. We guess they're about 10 - 12 months old and they’re very healthy girls. Penny weighs about 45 pounds and Precious weighs about 35 pounds. We have no way of knowing if they're actual littermates, half-sisters (female dogs can have multiple mates) or just sisters-from-another-mother, but we do know they're soul sisters who deserve to stay together.
