Meet Precious
Meet Precious!
Precious is a beauty! Her name fits her well. She is very sweet, but can be a bit shy at first. She would love a family that she can just be with. She gets attached quickly, and will think the world of her person. She is pretty quiet, has done well on her housebreaking, she chooses to keep her room clean. She does play with toys, but her squeaky stuffies don't always last long! She does well with respectable dogs, likes just hanging out more than playing. If you're looking for a dog that is calmer, and really just wants to be with her person, Precious may be the one for you!
Basics: She is a spayed female guessed to be around 3 yrs old and she weighs close to 62lbs.
Adoption Process:

- One of our team members will get back to you via phone.
- Our dogs can be seen by appointment only. We do not have a facility at this time. Dogs are in foster homes or boarding
- Adoption fee helps to cover transport costs, spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies, fecal, initial worming, and microchip.
-We do not place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt. NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available.
About Us: Day of the Dogs is a 501c3 nonprofit that is dedicated to helping shelters increase live release. We coordinate 2 - 4 transports per month from TX, OK and AR to NW Indiana/Chicagoland and the Kansas City area. We do direct adoptions ourselves out of Dyer, IN area and partner with 12 other rescues and shelters in both IL and IN that are willing to help southern pets in need.
