Precious Mastiff & Bullmastiff Mix Chambersburg, PA
- Vaccinations up to date.
Brief description: Precious is just that. She is sweet and loving with humans and is good with kids. She came from a situation wherein she had been bred and was malnourished, so she tends to be guarded with other dogs and is extremely food motivated. She is crate trained and housebroken and knows all of her basic commands and now walks decently on a leash, which is one of her favorite past times now, is going for walks.
Likes: Food, walks, car rides, chewing on bones, pets and attention from people.
Dislikes: Not a fan of sharing her stuff with other dogs.
Personality: She has personality and can be a card. Loving and affectionate.
Temperament: Learns quickly and does not challenge humans once bonded. She is still learning what it means to be apart of a household and does want to interact with the other dogs appropriately.
Energy level: She is young and playful and needs daily walks but she is chill and will laydown and be calm for the most part during the day.
Favorite activities: eating, getting pets from her people, walking.
Good with cats, dogs, and kids over 6?: Good with kids, ok with docile dogs,
Not good with: Dominant dogs or dogs that will take her food.
Crate trained: Yes
Challenges: Not allowing her to get into a fight over food with other dogs. She had to learn to calm down and not push either. She now walks nicely on a leash and does not try to bolt out the door to go potty.
Any Medical issues? She was denied food so she needs to eat more than usual
What would be the best kind of home? Precious would enjoy being the only dog in a family that loves her and wants to spend time with her as part of the family. She loves kids and people. She would probably do fine with cats but will chase them in play.
